INFORMATION AIR COOLING KIT, TEMPERATURE AND NOISE REDUCER FROM ASIC - WHATSMINER

This air cooling kit replaces the typical ASIC factory fans using the following components:

  • In-line fan
  • Adaptation nozzle
  • Protective grille
  • Fan emulators
  • Screws

Cooling is achieved by air expelled by the in-line fan and ducted to the ASIC via the matching nozzle. The emulators allow the ASIC software to operate as it normally would with the factory fans. The adapter nozzle is printed with high/low temperature, impact, wear and corrosion resistant PETG plastic. The protective grille prevents the inline fan from sucking in objects.

  • Reduce the temperature of the ASIC by 5 to 10°C, improving its lifetime.

With this kit a nozzle can be added at the other end of the ASIC which would allow hot air to be blown out of the workspace through a flexible aluminium tube. This is not necessary so it is optional, and costs an extra €25.00 + VAT.
